MedjetAssist, a emergency medical evacuation and repatriation membership program, said Craig Boddington has signed on as a company spokesperson to the hunting and outdoor market.
“As a widely recognized outdoorsman and unarguably one of this generation’s most accomplished hunting experts, Craig will lend tremendous insight, visibility and credence to our company and services,” said Roy Berger, Medjet president and CEO. “We are delighted to have someone of Craig’s caliber and reputation in the hunting community to represent MedjetAssist.”
With a MedjetAssist membership, if a member is hospitalized more than 150 miles from home and continues to meet inpatient criteria at the receiving hospital- MedjetAssist will arrange medical transportation to the hospital of the member’s choice at no additional cost.
“I am not afraid of the places I go to follow my passion for hunting or the unpredictable paths that take me there,” said Boddington. “I am not afraid of what I am hunting, what might be hunting me, or whatever lies in between. I travel with peace of mind, because I know Medjet will be there if I ever need them.”
Boddington continued, “I’ve been a Medjet member for over five years and my passion takes me to the ends of the earth. I’m not sure where you go, but make sure you have Medjet. I wouldn’t travel without it.”
One of the world’s most accomplished hunters, Boddington was born and raised in Kansas, where his big game hunting experience began at an early age. He attended the University of Kansas on an NROTC scholarship, graduating with an English degree and a regular commission in the United States Marine Corps. His outdoor writing career began during college and continued during his active duty. He has written more than 4,000 articles for national magazines, he has authored 21 books on hunting and shooting, and he is the host of the popular Tracks Across Africa television show.
Having been on more than 75 African safaris, Boddington’s list of hunting accomplishments is long. He is the only living journalist who has hunted Africa’s nine spiral-horned antelopes, and he’s the only one who has hunted Africa’s Big Five. He holds a number of other distinguished records and accolades in the hunting and shooting world.
