BOB Trailers of San Luis Obispo, CA is pleased to announce that Quality Bicycle Products (QBP) of Bloomington, MN is now an official distributor of BOB bicycle cargo trailers, effective immediately. To launch this relationship, BOB trailers will be represented at the QBP Frostbike open house February 19 and 20 in Bloomington.

“This agreement will give bicycle dealers across the country greater access to our specialty cargo trailers,” noted Damon Noller, VP of sales and marketing for BOB.

Said Rich Tauer, product manager for QBP, “QBP is excited to be partnering with BOB, the leader in bicycle cargo trailers. They have excellent product, with an extensive customer base. We hope to bring new customers and an additional path for dealers to purchase BOB products in the coming year.”

BOB trailers include the YAK and IBEX. The YAK, the original Beast of Burden (BOB) product, is a versatile cargo carrier that has become the choice of cyclists the world over for both on and off-road use. The IBEX features an adjustable suspension system providing a minimum of 3 inches of trailer wheel travel, dramatically extending the possibilities for off-road adventures.

Quality Bicycle Products is the largest parts and accessories distributor in the cycling industry, employing more than 200 people and operating from a 105,000 square foot facility.

BOB, originally called Beast of Burden, was founded in 1994, manufacturing the first YAK single-wheeled bicycle cargo trailer. In 1998, the company introduced the Sport Utility Stroller, an all-terrain stroller that has become the performance and feature standard for jogging strollers.
