Boa Technology added two new employees to their R&D team. Adam Wood was hired to serve a two-year term as China Operations Engineer at Boa's manufacturing facility in Shenzhen, China beginning this month. Additionally, Sean Cavanagh joins Boa Technology as a Mechanical Engineer based out of their Denver, Colorado office.

“Adam is an experienced quality engineer with a background in the bicycle component industry and the medical device industry,” said Rob Burns, Engineering Manager for Boa Technology. “His addition represents the start of a full-time Boa presence in China which will dramatically increase our ability to assure a high level of product quality, on time delivery, and customer factory support.”

Prior to the creation of this position, Boa Technology did not maintain a full-time staff member at their manufacturing facilities. Adam's presence in China is intended to give the Colorado-based company better involvement in the manufacturing process. In this new role, Adam will provide onsite training, assistance and ongoing quality assurance. Prior to this position, Adam spent significant time as a Product Development Engineer in the medical equipment industry.

Boa has also hired Sean Cavanagh as a Mechanical Engineer. A Colorado native, avid outdoorsman and recent Colorado School of Mines graduate, Sean will support the design & development team in Denver. He will assist with new product engineering, operate the test lab, and oversee the field-testing program for all new products.
