Boa Technology, the creator of The Boa System, expanded fit systems in the run market with new textile-based lace and guides. In conjunction, Boa formed a new brand partnership with Asics and debuted Boa-powered running shoes with New Balance and Under Armour.

Boa’s new system is designed to be on the forefront of the run market, aligned with industry needs, aesthetics and performance factors. Set out with the goal to develop and integrate the best running-specific Boa solution, Boa surveyed and researched run brands and consumer needs, and conducted four rounds of field testing that spanned 100-plus testers, 1,800 hours, and 20,000 miles

Made up of three parts – dial, lace, and guides – Boa-powered road and trail shoes will launch for summer 2017, with a wider range of partner products and applications in the future.

“We are excited to bring the new system to the run market with our amazing brand partners,” says Chuck Mason, chief commercial officer for Boa Technology. “We have reached new capabilities in terms of seamless integration and with our new lace and guides being available in a multitude of colors, we can customize the look in addition to function and performance.”

Each system is designed to outlast the life of the shoe and is backed by The Boa Guarantee.
