Blundstone announced the launch of a new national campaign, #HowIRoam, which offers contest entrants the chance to win a trip for two to Tasmania. Set to run on Blundstone’s Instagram from October 10-November 18, the campaign explores Blundstone’s passion points of film, craft, food, music and the outdoors through the eyes of fans.
Last year, the #HowIRoam campaign was about the open road and a celebration of Blundstone’s partnership with Ducati.
This year, “the #HowIRoam campaign’s is grounded in authenticity, individualism and spirit of adventure, all values that our brand and Blundstone followers ascribe to,” said Blundstone International Sales Executive Rachel Lash.
Blundstone is expanding the scope and exploring all passions by profiling five people who embody the spirit of the brand: rugged, driven and unique. Blundstone will distribute content on these ambassadors while asking fans to post photos or videos tagging @blundstoneusa and using #HowIRoam, sharing how they roam and what inspires them and their passions. All entries are automatically entered to win the grand prize. The favorite image or video will be selected by a creative team at Blundstone.
Additionally, fans can enter to win weekly prizes including Blundstone boots, accessories from family-owned lifestyle brand Will Leather Goods, handcrafted goods from Iron & Resin, unique outdoor gear from Poler Stuff and more.
Looking to support and engage with influencers, Blundstone has created an influencer contest where the brand will invite likeminded influencers to share their passions, including what inspires them and how they roam on their social channels, while inviting their fans to enter the contest. All participating influencers will be entered to win a cash prize of $3,000 towards continuing their passions.

The #HowIRoam campaign will be promoted on Blundstone’s website, social media advertising and through direct-to-consumer emails. Additionally, Blundstone has partnered with Zappos on a promotion where Zappos influencers will share #HowIRoam through their channels.
