The Blake and Bosworth Sports Marketing Group, LLC appointed Scott LeComte as Executive Vice President of Golf to lead the expansion of the company’s athlete representation division.

In addition to providing representation services for athletes and entertainers, including 2002 U.S. Amateur Champion Ricky Barnes, the Blake and Bosworth Group works with Fortune 500 clients to develop cutting edge sports marketing platforms. The company specializes in designing and implementing marketing strategies aimed at maximizing brand awareness by initiating sponsorship and promotional opportunities with various sports properties including the PGA Tour, the NHL, and NASCAR. The Blake and Bosworth Group places particular emphasis on measuring a client’s return on investment in marketing by utilizing a proprietary database comprised of data collected from 254 Fortune 1000 companies. The hiring of Scott LeComte is the first of many expansion initiatives underway at the company.

Scott most recently held the position of Vice President of Golf at Axcess Sports and Entertainment where he recruited and signed PGA TOUR rookies Steve Marino and Steve Wheatcroft as well as Nationwide Tour player Brett Bingham. Wheatcroft, Marino and Bingham will join the Blake and Bosworth Group’s growing roster of golfers, which also includes Ricky Barnes and fan favorite, May Wood. As Executive Vice President of Golf, LeComte will be responsible for managing player relations, scouting professional golf tours and overseeing contract negotiations.
