Black Diamond Equipment has partnered with the newly created agency, All Mountain Group to service its dealers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast states. The agency is comprised of partners Russ Clune, Al Diamond, Tyler Merritt and Erik Mushial.
“Bringing Al and Erik into the BD family gives us the resources to scale up the level of service that we are able to provide the dealers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast,” explains Brian Mecham, director of North American sales for Black Diamond Equipment. “We believe the partnership of Russ, Al, Tyler and Erik consists of the ideal blend of skills and knowledge required to support the dealer needs for both Black Diamond Equipment hard goods and apparel.”
Russ Clune has worked with Black Diamond Equipment since its founding. In addition to Clune’s long history with the company and dealers in the territory, he has been a key figure in the climbing community for more than 25 years.
Tyler Merritt, based in Burlington, Vermont, has worked with Black Diamond Equipment for the last 13 years. Merritt manages the ski and mountain product categories in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions and has been in the outdoor industry for the past 18 years.
Al Diamond and Erik Mushial have been in the outdoor industry since 1995 and have been business partners since 1998. They have worked with numerous brands in the outdoor industry and are both lifelong climbers and outdoorsmen.
