Birkenstock USA LP confirmed plans to return to its landmark 93-acre campus in Novato, CA, on the heels of double-digit sales growth. The sprawling historic campus allows the company to take advantage of the existing 37,000 square feet of office space to accommodate its rapidly growing workforce.

The move from their current location at the former Hamilton Landing Air Force Base in Novato is expected to be complete by the end of September 2012. Distribution facilities will remain unchanged out of Hebron, KY.

Leading the company in this charge is newly appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mitch Mahoney.  The company officially promoted Mahoney to Vice President of Sales and Marketing in May after previously serving as Director of National Sales, Regional Sales Manager and Senior Territory Manager. Prior to Birkenstock Mahoney held positions with Joseph Seibel Group, ECCO USA and Miller Brands.

“I'm excited to have the opportunity to lead the company forward by focusing on our relationships, values and products,” states Mahoney, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “This has been a fantastic year for us and we're looking forward to similar results for 2013.”

Fueling the growth are key initiatives of expanded distribution into Running Specialty and Outdoor markets along with on target product development. The company continues to invest in its national advertising and sponsorship commitments. From Fleet Feet to Footwise, Nordstrom to Urban Outfitters, retail partner diversity confirms Birkenstock legendary comfort is clearly in style.

“We're really looking forward to returning to our old home. Our brand has such history and heritage attached to it that going back just feels natural and the timing is right,” explains Shelly Glasgow, Director of Product Development.

The company currently has numerous positions open from Field Service Representatives to Senior Marketing Manager.
