BioLite, a specialist in energy solutions, announced the company’s CEO and co-founder Jonathan Cedar has been elected to the Outdoor Industry of America’s Board of Directors.
Cedar is one of three new incoming directors and two returning directors who will officially begin their three-year terms at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in July 2018. BioLite will be exhibiting at booth #32125-UL at the show.
“As an Outdoor Industry product innovator, brand builder and lifelong outdoor participant, I hope that my experience can help the OIA engage the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts,” said Cedar. “It’s an exciting time in our industry, and it means so much to be working alongside outdoor industry leaders to guide the OIA to a successful future.”
The OIA board of directors provides guidance for the organization’s overall strategic direction, establishes policies and positions, monitors the associations’ financial health, programs and overall performance and prepares the industry and association for the future, ensuring OIA’s success as an organization and for its members.
