Electronics brand Blaupunkt signed an exclusive agreement with BikeExchange naming them the DTC sales outlet for its foldable e-bikes in North America.

Bike Exchange will house the e-commerce platform with marketing support and logistics through its subsidiary Kitzuma Cycling Logistics.

“We know the Blaupunkt name is well regarded in North America, but most of those folks probably don’t associate it with e-bikes,” said Brian Tedesco, president and CEO BP Technology Americas. “Hopefully, this new partnership will change that. BEX’s unique platform will introduce us to a nationwide audience of consumers and retailers while streamlining the shopping experience for all involved, especially those who go through with a purchase.”

Consumers looking to purchase a Blaupunkt foldable e-bike would start on either the BEX website or, if using the brand’s site, select the ‘buy now’ option to go to a dedicated product page where bike specs, positioning, inventory, shipping options, and more, are listed, including the buying options.

“We’re excited to be working with an iconic brand like Blaupunkt,” said Garret Becker, BEX head of sales, “and we’re confident that their outstanding bikes, marketed and sold on our proven platform, will be the perfect combination to drive sales to a large audience in North America.”
