Bigtruck, a Lake Tahoe-based lifestyle brand, made key updates to its production facility and sales teams.
Bigtruck welcomed JTB Custom to improve and streamline production and operations. Specializing in lean and small-batch manufacturing, JTB Custom helped Bigtruck slash delivery times and build a paradigm of continuous improvement. Founder Jud Barr has worked with a range of companies and seen how critical it is to react quickly to changes in market dynamics. “With a highly innovative and fast growing brand like Bigtruck, having an adaptable and scalable manufacturing process is foundational to effective growth management,” said Barr.
Bigtruck also added a new sales manager, new sales agency, new international distributor and is eyeing territory expansion in the Pacific Northwest. Overseeing Global Wholesale and Cobrand Sales, new Sales Manager David Eastwood brings more than 20 years of experience as a business owner, sales agent and retail manager.
Ascension Sales Group joined Bigtruck to manage wholesale and cobrand sales in the Rockies and Texas. Founders Eric Johnson, Brad Barlage and Brian Stevenson are outdoor enthusiasts who combine more than 60 years of experience into a standard setting agency. Supported by business analyst Caleb Wray and reps Holly Yeary, Ronnie Jenkins and Tristan Loar, ASG was selected to grow Bigtruck’s wholesale distribution.
Based in Hood River, OR, sales agency Play North West added Montana to Bigtruck territory. Owner Patty Lenz and her team are industry veterans and are critical to expanding Bigtruck’s presence in the Northwest.
Internationally, Charlotte Fugier, Bigtruck’s Chile distributor, now brings Bigtruck to France. A Megève native with roots in Tahoe, Fugier will pioneer Bigtruck in France.
“The pace of change and speed of improvement we have seen over the last months has been great to witness.” said Bill Sinoff, managing partner at Bigtruck. “Our success is the result of our team’s collective hard work, passion and vision. To continue on our trajectory, it is vital to have partners that understand and promote our ideals. We feel that we’ve found the perfect match with our newest members.”
