Big City Mountaineers raised an excess of $5,000 at OR Summer Market 2006 through numerous fundraising events.
Many outdoor manufacturers held events that either fully or partially benefited BCM, including: JanSport’s Shake ‘n Bake; Highgear’s Time for Teens; Sierra Design’s Real Deal live auction; GSI’s hockey game; and Wisconsin Pharmacal’s Big City Bowling.

“The amount of outdoor industry support for our program has never been stronger,” says Mark Godley, BCM Executive Director. “It’s really humbling to see the outpouring of fundraising efforts to help bring our recreational mentoring program to more urban teens.”
