The three new board members bring diverse backgrounds and skills to an already distinguished board of directors.

Ruth Nielsen, a Seattle-based attorney whose clients include ski areas, ski schools, outdoor adventure companies, guide companies, outdoor clubs and manufacturers of sporting and camping equipment, has a background in risk management and has a personal passion for outdoor recreation, including backcountry skiing, climbing and backpacking.

Mike Hartley, President of Oxnard, Calif.-based KR Tools, has been an executive in consumer goods businesses for more than a decade, and is interested in supporting youth development. He has helped BCM in the past through fundraising efforts.
