Bath & Body Works has appointed Daniel Heaf as CEO. Most recently, he was Nike’s chief strategy and transformation officer.

According to an internal memo viewed by Bloomberg News, Heaf left Nike in March 2025 after the company eliminated his position amid management changes following Elliott Hill’s appointment as company CEO last October.

Heaf had been Nike’s chief strategy and transformation officer since August 2023. He joined Nike as VP/GM global direct digital commerce in September 2018. He served as VP of Nike Direct from April 2020 to August 2023.

Before Nike, Heaf served as Burberry’s senior VP of digital, digital marketing, customer service, and data.

“Daniel is a forward-thinking leader with a remarkable track record of driving innovative, transformative growth across iconic global brands,” said Sarah Nash, chair of Bath & Body Works. “He brings bold and direct leadership, which energizes and inspires teams to rally behind him. His vision for evolving Bath & Body Works to be highly coveted, relevant and resonant for customers everywhere — combined with his consumer-first mindset — make him the right person to lead Bath & Body Works.”

At Bath & Body Works, Heaf replaces Gina Boswell, who stepped down as CEO in March to undergo surgery and planned to take a leave of absence lasting several weeks.
