Bass Pro Shops announced plans for a new superstore in Irvine, CA. The 140,000-square-foot store, expected to open in late 2022 or early 2023, joins a Bass Pro location in Rancho Cucamonga in Southern California.
“We are tremendously excited to have the opportunity to partner with the Irvine Company to bring our next generation Outdoor World store to Irvine. There is no stronger company to work with in the region focused on the outdoor, coastal lifestyle and conservation,” said Johnny Morris, founder, Bass Pro Shops.
The Irvine location will open at Alton Marketplace, located in Irvine near the junction of the I-5 and the I-405. Bass Pro said more than 425,000 vehicles pass the location daily, and more than 16.8 million people reside within a 60-mile radius of the store.
Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s has more than 170 locations in the U.S.
