Bass Pro Shops reported plans for a new retail store in Tucson, its third location in Arizona.
“We are very excited about this opportunity to strengthen our relationship with the sportsmen and women of Southern Arizona,” said conservationist and Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris. “This new store will make it easier for the people and families who love to hunt and fish Arizona’s deserts and waterways to spend time together in the great outdoors.”
“I am excited to welcome Bass Pro Shops to Tucson,” said Tucson Mayor Regina Romero. “Tucsonans have a love for the outdoors and choose to live here because of our beautiful mountains and access to outdoor recreation. Our thriving ecotourism industry is creating jobs, it is good for our economy and is attracting retailers like Bass Pro Shops to Southern Arizona,” said the Mayor.
The retail store will be located off I-10 as an anchor of Marketplace at the Bridges.
Frank Egan, president of Tucson Retail, LLC, said, “Our team has worked for over 15 years to develop Marketplace at the Bridges into a first-class project for the City of Tucson. Bass Pro’s commitment to our site has secured our position as Southern Arizona’s premier retail, entertainment, and hospitality destination.”
