Bass Pro Shops plans to open a new Outpost in Hermantown, MN, west of Duluth. This will be the retailer’s fifth company store in the state and the first in the northeast region.

The 70,000-square-foot space, which will be on Haines Road in Hermantown, accessible via U.S. Highway 53, is due to open in the first half of 2025.

“It’s an honor to serve the sportsmen and women in the Duluth area and help outfit them for adventures as they enjoy the rich fishing and hunting opportunities in Minnesota and throughout the region,” said Bass Pro Shops Founder Johnny Morris.

The new Hermantown location is expected to employ over 100 people. A team of artists and craftsmen will design the store’s localized imagery, reinforcing the retailer’s outdoor theme, often called “The Walt Disney of the Outdoors,” to create immersive experiences that connect customers shopping in-store with nature.
