Barrett Firearms Manufacturing, the Australian-owned, American manufacturer of firearms and ammunition with its headquarters in Murfreesboro, TN, has appointed military professional Cameron Fraser as director of U.S. Government sales.

The company said Fraser has over two decades of experience in strategic international collaborations, project management and defense operations, having served in the Australian Army and, most recently, the U.S. Army HQ G8 Branch.

Barrett said Fraser has a record for establishing “pivotal defense partnerships, particularly with U.S. personnel and industry and spearheading innovation and operational excellence.”

Fraser will join the company at the Association of the United States Army’s (AUSA) Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C, this week.

“Barrett has always set the highest standards for our manufacturing and we welcome employees who share our commitment to those standards,” commented Barrett CEO Bryan James. “Cameron Fraser has built a career on excellence in his military roles and he brings strong ties with the US defense industry and a passion to deliver leading edge technologies to our government customers.”

Fraser has a BS in Environmental Management and three Master’s degrees, including a Master of Capability Management, a Master of Systems Engineering and a Master of Military and Defense Studies.

“I’m very grateful to Barrett for the opportunity to work with such a well-established and well-regarded defense partner, who is focused on precision capabilities and an unwavering commitment to the warfighter and professional government end-users,” Fraser offered. “I look forward to working with the Barrett team and to strengthening my relationships within the U.S. industry.”
