Balega, the performance sock brand in the run and outdoor specialty markets, is celebrating Veterans Day through the launch of its Enduro Physical Training sock. Fifty cents from the sale of each sock will be donated to Homes for our Troops, an organization that builds specially adapted homes for disabled veterans.

Balega is passionate about our men and women in uniform from its very own Lesedi-Veterans in Need charity program where Balega strives to bring hope and assistance to those who have sacrificed so much for our country. This year, Balega has already donated to Homes for our Troops charity supporting Army Sergeant Micheal Beck of North Carolina in the building of a new adapted home. Balegas actions and support to veterans assist soldiers to take their next steps forward.

When we founded Balega back in 2003 we decided that we wanted to share the blessing of success with those less fortunate, states Bert Pictor, Balegas CEO. Everyday our men and women in Uniform are exposed to risk so that we can enjoy the freedom and safety that we all sometimes take for granted. In some small way we are trying to make a difference by giving back to Homes for our Troops.

Similar to Balegas top selling Enduro sock, The Enduro Physical Training Quarter sock is has no visible logos above the shoe area for Military purposes. These hands-crafted, high performance socks provide a plush under-sole cushion to better protect feet along with Balegas V-Tech Arch Support System for added support. New this year, Balega is adding the color black and bringing out a crew length.
