Augusta Sportswear Inc. is in the process of adding 30,000 square feet to its existing facility in Grovetown, GA. The expansion enables the company to add a new conveyor system that is expected to expedite order fulfillment and shipment.
The multimillion-dollar investment, $2 million of which is the construction cost, is designed to make it easier for the company to fill same-day orders received as late as 6 pm.
The blank goods company uses the facility to distribute goods manufactured at Augusta Sportswear plants in Mexico.
