The Buckle announced that sales for the four-week period ended August 30, 2003 increased 3.0 percent to $48.1 million from sales of $46.7 million in the corresponding four-week period ended August 31, 2002.
Comparable store sales for the four- week period decreased 0.6 percent from comparable store sales for the prior year four-week period ended August 31, 2002.
Net sales year-to-date, for the 30 weeks ended August 30, 2003 increased 2.6 percent to $215.5 million from $210.0 million for the corresponding 30 weeks in the prior year. Comparable store sales year-to-date were down 1.0 percent from sales in the same 30-week period of the previous year.
