“As Astral continues to expand into the broader outdoor market, it becomes more and more crucial to invest in the strength and reach of our on-the-ground sales team,” said Christian Mason, director of B2B Sales, at Astral. “As Astral’s business has grown to serve different markets, we have seen a need for some diversification in our independent rep force so that we can leverage our reps’ unique skills to meet the varying needs of our many different retail partners.”
“We are excited to be partnering with an independently-owned brand dedicated to supporting specialty retail,” said Judd Salvas, principal at Taproot Reps, covering the Rockies. “Our team is aligned with Astral’s strategy to protect the core while expanding the reach to new specialty retailers in the Rockies in outdoor, action, water and boutique.”
“With major growth across all categories, driven by advances in sustainability, performance and versatility, having a knowledgeable, regionally-focused team ensures retailers are equipped to bring these new products to market with confidence,” the company concluded in the release.
