Asics extended its 25-year relationship with the Italian Athletics Federation (FIDAL).
As part of the five-year deal, the brand will continue to supply all competition wear at all major international competitions, beginning with August’s World Athletics Championships in London and continuing through to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
“Asics has a long tradition of partnerships with athletes, teams and federations, and in particular with FIDAL, with which we will surpass the success of the 25 consecutive years of collaboration with this new agreement,” stated Luca Bacherotti, managing director of Asics Italy. “The Asics divisions are now part of the history of the blue jersey and we are extremely proud to be able to continue with the supply of our highest quality clothing, developed thanks to the skills acquired at the Asics Research Institute of Science in Kobe, and based on technologies specifically designed to improve performance, posture and muscle stimulation.”
