England Hockey has appointed ASICS as the Official Footwear Supplier to England Hockeys National Teams. The agreement has been signed by Barry Snellgrove, England Hockey Marketing & Communications Director and Ryoji Sekito, Managing Director of ASICS UK.
The agreement is for a three year period and will provide hockey specific shoes and general running shoes to England players. ASICS will now begin biomechanical movement analysis at relevant training camps. In addition to the provision of shoes, two (2) ASICS scholarship awards will be offered to the most promising male and female under 21 players.
In return ASICS will be given the exclusive designation “Official Footwear Supplier to England Hockeys National Teams” and will become a key commercial partner of England Hockey.
