Ashima Shiraishi is only 15 years old, but she has taken the sport of rock climbing by storm. She’s been called “the most talented rock climber in the world.”
Jimmy Chin photographed Ashima in New York City for an #urbanexploration collaboration with The North Face featured on Instagram. Chin said she is “endlessly talented.”
“Last year, Ashima became one of the only people in the world to climb 5.15 and V15,” he noted, “which, for a lack of better words, is so gnarly.”
