ARC¹TERYX Equipment Inc. announced the addition of Nick Cienski and Gary Bryant to its growing roster of talented individuals. Cienski, formerly with Salomon, has
been appointed the VP, Manager of Product Development & Design and Bryant, known for his work at Snow and Rock, has been chosen to fill the newly created European Brand Manager position.

No stranger to the world of outdoor apparel, Cienski is best known for
single-handedly developing, designing, and marketing several snowsports
brands; including Benetton's Nordica brand and Valid Moutainwear, where
three of his designs won Malden Mills APEX Design Awards. He also spent
several years with Far West and Altus Canada and was most recently employed
with Salomon, helping to refine the company's apparel line. An accomplished
skier and mountaineer, he's been on several Polish Himalayan expeditions –
notably Everest West Ridge and K2 Winter and has spent time guiding in
such places as Broad Peak, K2 North trek, and Aconcagua. He's also fluent in
English, French, and Polish.

Gary Bryant, a 15-year veteran of the outdoor industry, joins ARC'TERYX as
Brand Manager to help bolster the company's European presence. Previously
the Outdoor Director at Snow and Rock, Bryant worked his way up through the
company, eventually becoming responsible for a substantial annual budget and
the main role of purchasing and forecasting for the specialty retailer.
Bryant was also involved in the launch of Mountain Hardwear in Europe. He's
a competitive road cyclist and mountain bike rider who has represented
England on an international level and is also an experienced mountaineer who
spends most of his time the Alps.

“We are excited to have Nick and Gary on our team,” said Bob Holding, Senior
VP Sales and Marketing. “Their insight and experience will be a valuable
addition to our efforts in-house and abroad. Both have great skills that
will help ARC'TERYX to grow the brand worldwide,” Holding said.
