Arcis Golf, the second-largest owner and operator of golf facilities in the United States, has acquired three nationally recognized clubs: The Country Club of the South (Johns Creek, GA), The Manor Golf & Country Club (Alpharetta, GA), and White Columns Country Club (Milton, GA).

The transactions closed on June 10, and Arcis Golf assumes operations of all clubs on June 11, 2025.

  • The Country Club of the South, located in Johns Creek, GA, features an 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, renowned as one of the most challenging courses in Atlanta. The club also features restaurants, a tennis center with 12 courts (six clay and six hard), group classes, personal training and a private event venue.
  • The Manor Golf & Country Club, located in Alpharetta, GA, is a Distinguished Club of America, boasting an 18-hole golf course designed by Tom Watson, one of only 16 in the world he designed. The club also features junior golf and tennis programs, dining, social events, and private venues.
  • White Columns Country Club, located in Milton, GA, features an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Tom Fazio. The club also offers swimming, tennis, pickleball, and fitness facilities, as well as a variety of events, dining options, and private venues.

Arcis Golf has reported plans to invest significant capital in golf course enhancements and lifestyle amenities across its three clubs.

This deal brings Arcis Golf’s total number of club acquisitions to 18 over the last three years. The company now owns 54 holes across three clubs in the Atlanta area.

Arcis Golf’s national portfolio includes The Woodlands Country Club in Houston, TX; Champions Retreat Golf Club in Augusta, GA; Cowboys Golf Club in Dallas, TX; Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ; and The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge in Seattle, WA.

Arcis Golf’s clubs have hosted PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, and premier amateur events, including the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and NCAA Division I Championships.

Arcis Golf said in a media release that it has invested over “$150 million over the past four years in property upgrades, new amenities, personnel, training, and systems to create extraordinary experiences and forge emotional connections with members and guests.”
