Saks released its Luxury Pulse survey. The data shows that higher-income consumers who shop luxury retail have continued spending, including indulging themselves through fashion and vacation purchases. Additionally, higher-income consumers prioritize health and wellness and complement their lifestyle with luxury self-care, fitness and home products.

Fanatics To Expand Nike Partnership Around Colleges

Fanatics is entering into a long-term partnership with Nike to manufacture college sports fan apparel. Starting mid-2024, Fanatics will begin manufacturing most of Nike’s fan apparel for many of its more prominent college partners.

Delta Apparel Expects Q3 Sales Growth Of Approximately 6 Percent

Delta Apparel, Inc. said it expects net sales for its 2022 fiscal third quarter ended July 2 to be approximately $126 million, a 6 percent increase compared to the prior-year third-quarter net sales of $118.7 million and mid-single-digit growth when compared to the pre-pandemic fiscal 2019 third-quarter net sales.

Designer Brands To License Le Tigre Footwear

Designer Brands, Inc., the parent of DSW, announced an investment in and licensing agreement with Le Tigre, the American athletic apparel brand famous in the 1980s. Designer Brands will design and produce Le Tigre footwear to be sold primarily through DSW and The Shoe Company.

Gap CEO To Step Down

Gap Inc. announced that president and chief executive officer Sonia Syngal will step down from her position and from the company’s Board, departing the company following a brief transition. The company also announced that Horacio “Haio” Barbeito, formerly at Walmart, will join the Gap Inc. as president and chief executive officer of Old Navy.
