Apex Ammunition hired Mike Tussey as a marketing specialist. Tussey is a veteran of the hunting industry and will be heavily involved in expanding Apex’s presence in Turkey and waterfowl initiatives.

“Mike has been with us since day one as an ambassador of Apex Ammo, and we are elated he has joined our team in a more formal role,” said Jason Lonsberry, CEO, APEX Ammunition. “He is an instrumental member of our marketing team and will help us continue to foster partnerships as we grow the brand and expand sales channels.”

A lifelong hunter, Tussey has completed six World Slams, 12 Royal Slams and 23 Grand Slams. He is the owner of Osceola Outdoors, a hunting guide service in South Florida. 

Tussey spent 30 years in the education field and, most recently, worked as community marketing manager for Nomad Outdoor, promoting its camo brand.
