The Antigua Group, Inc. has been named supplier of staff and volunteer uniforms for the Travelers Championship, Connecticut's PGA TOUR event, for the 16th consecutive year.
Antigua will again provide apparel for more than 3,500 volunteers at this year's Travelers Championship, being held June 20 through June 26 at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn.
“Being chosen as the supplier of staff and volunteer uniforms for the Travelers Championship for 16 straight years is a very big deal,” said Ron McPherson, President and CEO of Antigua. “In this day and age of vendors giving away product to lure tournaments to use their product, I believe our association with the Travelers Championship may be unprecedented. Every year we battle with the industry's top brands for the tournament's business, but we continue to do a good job so fortunately the tournament keeps renewing us. Jim Mayo, our sales representative in Connecticut, is a major reason why our association with the tournament has continued for this long.”
