Burton Snowboards is restructuring the sales management team within each of its five brands – Burton, R.E.D., Anon., Gravis and Analog – allowing each of the sales managers to report directly to their respective general managers.

Over the past few months, Amy Buckalter, VP of Global Sales, has assisted in designing the ultimate sales structure to handle Burton's various corporate initiatives. In pursuing its objective to be a true multi-brand organization and remain the industry leader, the company has come to the conclusion that the VP of Global Sales position will no longer exist in the evolving structure.

Amy's experience and skill set have been extremely instrumental in outlining this new organization and her hard work and knowledge has resulted in what Burton feels to be a solid sales organizational structure. With these changes, Amy will be transitioning out of the company, and working as a consultant with Laurent Potdevin over the next couple of months to help implement the final phase of the newly developed sales structure.

“Developing this new structure has been challenging, but we have come up with a system that will immediately improve and positively impact all of our brands globally,” says Laurent Potdevin, President of Burton. “Amy's dedication and efforts throughout the past few months are notable and are recognized by the entire organization.”
