American Sporting Goods (ASG) named Rob Purvy general manager. He will oversee business and product development amongst the And 1, NSS, Triple Five Soul and Avia Retro brands.
“Rob boasts a wealth of experience to American Sporting Goods and will be an immediate asset to the company,” said ASG CEO, Tom ORiordan. “Throughout our history we have been committed to bringing in the most talented and qualified individuals available, we truly believe Rob fits this mold.”
Purvy brings more than 20 years experience in footwear manufacturing and development to ASG, including stints at Vans and adidas. As GM, Purvy will focus on merchandising, product development, product marketing and brand building for And 1, NSS/X-Games, Triple Five Soul and the Avia Retro Brands.
Puvy added, “I couldnt be happier to join American Sporting Goods, not many companies can claim so many reputable brands all under one umbrella.”
American Sporting Goods, based out of Aliso Viejo, CA, owns And 1, Avia, Ryka, Nevados, Yukon, NSS, APEX, Turntec and Triple Five Soul.
