America Outdoors, an association of outfitters and guides, on Monday announced the appointment of six new members of the board of directors.

Joining the board of directors are Dania Egedi of Sheltowee Trace Adventure Resorts in Corbin, KY; Michael Cohen of the Santa Barbara Adventure Company in Santa Barbara, CA; David McGlashon of Adventure Treks in Hendersonville, NC; Austin Albers of the Buffalo Outdoor Center in Ponca, AR; Alex Thevenin of Arizona Raft Adventures in Flagstaff, AZ; and Peter Ross of 829 Studios in Boston, MA.

These six new members join the following re-elected board members: President Brian Campbell of Adventures on the Gorge in Lansing, WV; Vice President Don Roberts of Front Royal Outdoors and Shenandoah River Trip in Front Royal, VA; Second Vice President Jack Rich of Rich’s Montana Guest Ranch in Seeley Lake, MT; Treasurer Eric Martin of Wilderness Voyageurs in Ohiopyle, PA; Donna McDonald of Upper Canyon Outfitters in Alder, MT; Aaron Bannon of N.O.L.S. in Lander, WY; Steven Foy of the Nantahala Outdoor Center in Bryson City, NC; Tyler Wendt of O.A.R.S. in Angels Camp, CA: Scott Teuber of Wisconsin River Outings in Boscobel, WI; and Brian Merrill of Western River Expeditions in Salt Lake City, UT.

The vote took place at the America Outdoors Conference in Daytona Beach, FL.

“The addition of these six new directors complements our group of continuing members,” said America Outdoors Executive Director Julie Kahlfeldt. “Each of them brings unique experience and will be excellent additions to the team during this exciting time of transition for the association.”
