Amer Sports has appointed Päivi Antola as SVP of Group Communications and a member of its global leadership team. She will join the company in April 2025 at the latest.
Antola is returning to Amer Sports after leading corporate communications and investor relations from 2010 to 2018.

Antola will be based in the Amer Sports corporate office in Helsinki, Finland.
“Päivi has over two decades of a proven track record as a communications function leader for global listed companies, both within and outside of the sports and outdoor industry,” the company said in a media release. “Her experience in shaping and executing company-level communications strategies and plans, and in leading and developing communications teams, will be invaluable as we continue our growth journey as a publicly listed company.”
Antola joins Amer Sports from Nokian Tyres, where she was SVP of Communications, Investor Relations, and Brand and a member of its Group management team.
