Amer Sports expects its EBIT for the 2007 fiscal year to decrease from last year's 120.2 million. According to the company, the downturn will result from “the 2006/07 season's uncommonly mild winter, which had a larger-than-anticipated effect on winter sports equipment pre-orders.” However, the company noted that its other business areas “have developed as expected.”
