Alterra Mountain Company announced that Todd Bennett had been selected as president and chief operating officer of Deer Valley Resort in Utah, effective August 1, 2022.
A hospitality and ski industry veteran, Bennett’s career has included working at The Walt Disney Company, Vail Mountain and outdoor publishing company, Open Road Ski Company.
Bennett worked for nearly two decades at The Walt Disney Company in various roles, including as the executive director, product, at the Disneyland Resort in California. His previous positions with the company included general manager, Disney California Adventure Park; general manager, Downtown Disney, parking and on-site sales; director, experience design, and senior manager, Membership Development/Season Pass.

Bennett will focus on the Snow Park base area redevelopment, reimagining 15 acres of surface parking lots at Snow Park into a modern and base area.
