Akadema plans to sponsor Sports At The Beach team for 2010. Sports At The Beach is a 95 acre baseball facility located near Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. It offers youth baseball tournaments from March through October.
The first class facilities are complete with climate-controlled dorms, 30 batting cages, a Pro Shop, Concession Stand, Playground and a Swimming Pool.
Akadema manufacturers a wide range of baseball and softball equipment (fielding gloves, batting gloves, travel and bat bags, full apparel line, spikes, cleats and turf shoes, wood, aluminum and composite bats, sunglasses and other accessories). Akadema also said it is the only baseball and softball equipment company manufacturing baseball gloves (patriot series), wood and aluminum bats in the USA.
