Yavapai College in Prescott, AZ announced that Adidas will be its official uniform apparel and footwear supplier starting on July 1, 2020.
Yavapai College said that as a member of the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC), this is a chance to help lead community colleges with this type of agreement. The Athletics Department-wide deal ensures that the department is spending its resources responsibly which includes discounts, central purchasing, promotional items, and marketing materials to benefit current and prospective student-athletes.
“This new agreement is just another step in the process of athletics becoming a revenue-generating department. We have the right people and tools to become dominate both on the court/field and with our revenue. Thanks to a great team of coaches, staff and leadership,” said Rodney Jenkins, VP of Community Relations and Student Engagement.
Currently, the teams offered for the Roughriders are men’s soccer, volleyball, baseball, and softball. The agreement provides the opportunity for growth including the addition of eSports in Fall 2020 and Spirit in Fall 2021.

We are looking forward to a thriving future for Yavapai College and Roughrider Athletics, and partnering with Adidas brings a level of ingenuity and modernization that will inspire our current athletes and help attract new recruits,” said Brad Clifford, director of athletics.
