Active Ego, the plus-size active and leisure wear brand, announced the launch of Active Ego Sport, a new division of the company that will focus exclusively on creating apparel for the curvy female sports fan.

Additionally, the brand announced that it has entered into an agreement with Learfield Licensing to design and sell female plus-size collegiate fan apparel for the University of Houston and Baylor University.

The new collegiate collections are offered in sizes 12-22 and designed to meet the needs of the underserved plus-size sports fan apparel market. The collections, including crops tops, track jackets, joggers, capri pants and t-shirt dresses, are now available to purchase at local collegiate stores with suggested retail prices from $22 to $55.

“Since day one, Active Ego’s mission has always been to empower women to look and feel their best. Therefore, after noticing a void in the curvy fan apparel market, we created Active Ego Sport as a way to provide plus-size sports fans with fashionable options,” said Jennifer James, CEO and founder of Active Ego/Active Ego Sport. “As we look to grow this newly launched division of our company, we are thrilled to be partnering with Learfield Licensing to produce a collection of quality plus-size collegiate fan apparel that the market so desperately needs.”

Founded in 2017, Active Ego Sport is an athletic wear, leisurewear and sports apparel brand that exclusively designs and distributes female plus-size collegiate fan apparel. Active Ego is currently available at Neiman Marcus ‘Last Call’ and online at myactiveego.com.
