Academy Sports + Outdoors will open its first store in the Indianapolis area. The approximately 75,000-square-foot store will host a grand opening from August 25-27, marking the third store Academy will have opened in 2023. Academy will also open the state’s sixth store in Avon, IN, this fall.
Academy plans to continue its expansion efforts to open 13-to-15 stores in 2023 and 120-to-140 new stores by the end of 2027.
