Academy Sports + Outdoors reported last year that it would open 15 to 17 new stores in fiscal 2024. The retailer is making good on that forecast in its fiscal first quarter, starting with two new store openings in Knightdale, NC, and Greenwood, IN.
The grand opening for Academy’s Knightdale store took place on March 22-24, while the Greenwood store will host a grand opening on April 12-14.
