Academy Sports + Outdoors opened its newest store in Orlando. The store at Lee Vista Promenade is located at 6640 Eagle Watch Dr. The store is approximately 63,000 square feet and brings over 100 new jobs to the community.
“The opening of our Lee Vista store will mark our sixth location in Central Florida,” said Sam Johnson, Academy Sports + Outdoors’ executive vice president of retail operations. “We will continue to provide customers with the best brands at everyday low prices while being an active member of the community through our partnerships with Orlando City Soccer Club and local youth sports organizations for years to come.”
Customers can expect to find a wide range of quality products from brands such as Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, YETI, and Columbia.
Prior to the grand opening, the store partnered with The Mission Continues to donate $100 shopping sprees to 30 local children to shop for anything they wanted while accompanied by Academy team members.
Academy Spots has more than 240 locations.
