Academy Sports and Outdoors, Inc. reported in a regulatory filing that Scott Boatwright, an independent board member, has resigned as a director.
In connection with Boatwright’s resignation, the retailer reduced the size of its board from eleven to ten directors.
Academy said Boatwright’s resignation was not the result of any dispute or disagreement with the company or the board on any matter relating to the operations, policies or practices of the company.
