Academy Sports & Outdoors said that effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020, it updated its store hours to allow additional time for intensive cleaning in response to the coronavirus.
Academy Sports said in a statement, “We feel it is important to stay open to serve our customers during this challenging time and are working to do that as safely as possible.”
The temporary store hours will be:
- Monday – Saturday: 9:00 a.m – 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The chain’s normal store hours are:
- Monday thru Saturday 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Sunday 9 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
