Academy Snowboards domestic sales are up on a year to date basis of approximately 87% (including online and direct sales) over last year's total domestic sales and domestic same-store-sales are up on a year-to-date basis of 191% over last year's total domestic same-store sales, according to the brand's parent company Execute Sports, Inc. On a year-to-date basis Academy Snowboards has also grown its domestic footprint by approximately 78% over last year.

The Academy Snowboards pro team, led by last year's Transworld Rider of the Year, Chad Otterstrom and Mike Casanova, is defending its Transworld Team Challenge title for the third year in a row this week at Aspen, Colorado. Last year, Academy Snowboard's team won Best Pipe Rider (Chad Otterstrom), Best Rail Rider (Mike Casanova), Best Team Uniform (the five amigos), Best Team, and the Game of PIG. This year, Academy Snowboards team will be representing at Buttermilk Mountain in lumberjack regalia and will be hosting a whisky and flapjack breakfast for all 25 teams invited.
