ABC Fitness, the global fitness business, announced that Mohammed (Mo) Iqbal joined the company as chief strategy officer, effective immediately.
In this newly created role, Iqbal will lead ABC Fitness’ strategic growth initiatives, including partnerships, consulting services and mergers & acquisitions. He will also focus on building a value-added consulting business for the company, expanding and refining its partnership program, and identifying acquisitions that enhance its capabilities to “turn fitness visions into seamless reality.”
Iqbla will work closely with ABC Fitness’ Chief Product Officer, Finn Hagerty, and its Product Management leadership team.

Iqbal joins ABC Fitness with a strong background in tech-driven fitness solutions. As the founder and CEO of SweatWorks, a digital agency specializing in fitness technology, he has been at the forefront of AI, interoperability and data-driven personalization.

Iqbal will transition to the chairman of SweatWorks, where he will continue to guide the agency’s vision and strategic direction. Iqbal will also continue to provide leadership and advisory support to various brands while being an active voice on his podcast and other public platforms.
