Franchisees Brynn and Tina Walker are “actively seeking a location” in the Springfield, VA area as PIckleball Kingdom continues its expansion efforts nationwide.

In a recent national survey conducted by the Atlanta-based company, 70 percent of U.S. adults surveyed aged 18 to 65 identified themselves as “eager to learn” or “currently learning” the game of pickleball. Twelve percent described themselves as “avid” players. Only 18 percent expressed “no interest” in learning the sport.

Chaifetz Group, owners of Major League Pickleball’s St. Louis Shock franchise and a broad portfolio of other organizations in the sport, also participated in the deal and will hold an interest in the merged companies and a seat on the newly created Board of Directors.

The franchise club will offer a full suite of member benefits to provide optimal playing conditions combining outdoor court surfaces with an indoor environment for consistent play regardless of weather.

The indoor pickleball franchise, announced that its first club will open in Little Rock, AR, in November 2025. The facility will span approximately 30,000 square feet and feature 11 professional-grade indoor courts.

This new location, led by franchisee Sheryl Miller, adds to the growing number of Pickleball Kingdom clubs in Texas, including those operating in Plano, Dallas, Pflugerville, and soon-to-open Fort Worth. . 

Franchisees Chris and Kelly Ogden will host a special weekend event from April 25-27th, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of Pickleball Kingdom Belle Hall.

The largest operator of permanent pickleball courts, Life Time, the U.S. lifestyle brand and operator of 785 dedicated pickleball courts nationwide, is celebrating National Pickleball Month on April 12, hosting the Inaugural Andre Agassi Open Play Day.

Led by franchisees Saumil Parikh, Chirdip Sheth, Hemang Patel, and Dhaval Sheth, the club will feature climate-controlled courts and Pickleball Kingdom member amenities.

The 40,125-square-foot member club, with 14 professional-grade indoor courts, is led by franchisees Steve Poborka and Kerrie Forrester.
