Big Agnes announced its opening of third party distribution facilities in Kamloops, Canada and Rotterdam, Netherlands, designed to help the company meet the growing demand for its products internationally. Centrally located in key markets, the distribution centers will decrease shipping time to efficiently support dealers.
“We have recently seen rapid growth in Canada and Europe and are building infrastructure to keep up with the new demand,” said Bill Gamber, Big Agnes co-founder and president. “By opening these distribution centers, we are committed to investing in our future and growing Big Agnes in those markets. We are proud of the reputation we’ve built with our dealers for service and shipping, and this will improve our standing.”
In November 2016, the company announced it opened a warehouse facility in Salt Lake City to support domestic growth.
“Since our Salt Lake facility started cranking earlier this year, we have seen faster delivery and fulfillment times and all around increase in shipping efficiency that has benefited our partners and helped us meet the demand,” said Gamber.
