The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, announced that Magpul Industries Corp has signed as the Platinum Sponsor of the upcoming 2017 Import/Export Conference. Magpul is an American manufacturer of high-performance parts and accessories, primarily for the modern sporting rifle market.
Taking place August 2-4 in Washington, D.C., the NSSF and FAIR Trade Group Import/Export Conference gathers industry professionals to discuss the many compliance issues facing today’s U.S. firearms and accessory makers negotiating the complexities involved in doing business with other countries.
“Magpul is without a doubt one of our industry’s most innovative leaders,” said Melissa Schilling, NSSF director, exhibitions and conferences. “We are very pleased to have them take on the leading sponsorship role for this year’s Import/Export Conference.”
“We are happy to support the NSSF via the Import/Export Conference,” said Chad Harlan, marketing manager. “The industry knowledge and experience of the organization and its members is a valuable asset to Magpul in keeping up with changing import/export laws and guidelines. We are able to collaborate and learn about other companies’ experience in compliance as well as share our own, not to mention support the industry as a whole.”
A joint presentation of NSSF and the FAIR Trade Group, the 2017 Import/Export Conference is the firearms industry’s premier educational event for manufacturers and others in the supply chain doing business internationally or considering such expansion. Additional sponsorship opportunities for this conference are still available.
