Rabbit, a California-based running apparel manufacturer, has joined the Clean Sport Collective, a community of athletes, brands, events, clubs and fans that work together to support clean sport.
In addition to providing support for the Collective’s initiatives, Rabbit will require that all athletes associated with the company take the Clean Sport pledge, promising that they always have and always will train and compete clean.
In an open letter on the company’s website, Rabbit’s co-founders explained, “As runners, as humans, as people who work hard, we just have no tolerance for cheaters. They rob not only their competitors, but also themselves and the sport.”
In supporting the collective, Rabbit joins the ranks of industry leaders like Brooks, Altra and Nuun in helping to usher in a new era for the sport. Clean Sport Collective co-founder Shanna Burnette said, “We are honored to partner with rabbit on this collaboration. We have such admiration and respect for rabbit, and the great people behind the brand who put honesty, integrity and advocacy at the center of their brand. We look forward to continuing to advance clean sport through this partnership.”
